Countdown to Finals Weekend: Yorkshire's Best Take Centre Stage

Summer is building to its biggest weekend on the Bowls Yorkshire competitions calendar. On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July, the finals of our county competition will be played at King George V Bowling Club, Guisborough to decide who becomes Yorkshire County Champion in their event, and who earns the right to represent the county at the Bowls England National Finals in Leamington.
It's the culmination of a season of qualifying rounds, tense semi-finals, and no small amount of nerve — and this year, we want more people than ever to be part of it.

If you've never watched a game of bowls before, this is the weekend to start. It's free to watch, easy to follow once you know the basics, and a brilliant introduction to a sport that welcomes players of every age and background. Many of our competitors took up the game well into adulthood and were competing for county honours within a few seasons.
