Yorkshire Patrons

Patrons travel across Yorkshire’s wide-ranging county, visiting Clubs by invitation to enjoy relaxed, friendly afternoons of bowls. Matches are played in a stress-free and sociable atmosphere and are usually followed by a hot meal or refreshments, giving players the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of the host Club.

If you enjoy the game of bowls, becoming a Patron is a wonderful way to meet new people from across the county — many of whom you might never otherwise encounter through your local Club.

Each year there are typically around 10 outdoor fixtures and 7–8 indoor fixtures, offering plenty of opportunities to take part.

Patrons play in County colours, and membership is open to bowlers of all abilities — from those new to the game to players with many years of experience. A one-off payment of £25 secures Life Patron status.  Contact the Patrons Secretary regarding how to pay.

Whether you are an existing Patron wishing to express interest in this season’s matches, or a bowler considering becoming a Patron, we would be delighted to hear from you.  Please complete the attached form and return it to Stewart Clark (Honorary Patrons Secretary) using the details shown on the nomination form.

A PDF version is provided if you prefer to print, complete, and post the form.

A Microsoft Word version is also available, which can be completed electronically and returned by email.
