The Balcomb Trophy is the men's Inter-County competition run by Bowls England, equivalent to the women's Walker Cup. It is a high-standard competition played in regional groups, with the group winner from each area qualifying for the knockout final stages at the National Bowls Finals at Royal Leamington Spa. Bowls England sets all dates, venues and groups.
The 2026 format uses a Top Team structure of Pairs, Triples and Fours — the county side may be changed ahead of each individual match or round.
