Funding and Income

Sustainable clubs plan for long-term financial stability. Affiliation provides access to funding guidance and income-generation ideas.

Sponsorship

Clubs are encouraged to develop relationships with local businesses.

Common approaches include:

  • Advertising boards around the green

  • Website advertising

  • Displaying business cards or leaflets in the clubhouse

Example model:

  • Advertising board production cost approx. £55

  • Business sponsorship fee approx. £200 (depending on term agreed)

Easyfundraising

Easyfundraising allows clubs to raise funds when members shop online — at no additional cost to them.  Retailers donate a percentage of purchases directly to your club.  This is a simple and effective way to generate passive income.
