Finals Weekend
Saturday 25 – Sunday 26 July
What a weekend! Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July saw the finals of our Bowls Yorkshire competitions played at Guisborough KGV, with a fantastic turnout of spectators on the day and hundreds more following every end live on our livescore platform.
We were delighted by the response on social media too - our public Facebook page saw its following double over the weekend, and our private community group continues to grow, now over 725 members. Thank you to everyone who followed along, commented, and shared the excitement of the weekend with us.
Thank you to everyone who made the weekend possible - our fantastic competition organisers and their teams (particularly Mike Bruce and Helen Walker who have worked so hard this season to make our competitions such a success), the players, officials, markers, volunteers, our photographer, and of course everyone who came along or followed from home. Thanks also to Guisborough KGV for the use of their wonderful venue and for being such brilliant hosts. Finals Weekend showed Yorkshire bowls at its very best.
