Competition Zones

Some competitions are played in zones to keep travel manageable and make it easier for clubs across a large county to take part. Grouping nearby clubs together helps fixtures run smoothly and reduces pressure on players and volunteers. Where entry numbers are low, zonal play isn’t always possible, but wherever practical it ensures early rounds can be completed fairly before moving into the county‑wide stages.
